2 down, 4 to go! I can definitely say that this round went much better than the previous round. Two days after I was done with my chemo, I had to head to the clinic to receive the Neulasta shot, to stimulate the bone marrow to produce more white blood cells.

It definitely took me less than 10 days to recover before I can resume to my daily activities. I experienced less side effects. I was generally very tired and had to take 3-4 naps a day. Experiencing chemo side effects felt like a massive hangover. During this round, my entire body felt light. It kind of feels like being super tipsy as though I was floating. Mouth sores did not appear this time around but I did have a strange dried metallic taste in my mouth so I was drinking more water than usual. My appetite was much better. It definitely helped to have smaller meals more frequently per day. I felt like I spent most of my days just eating. The only new thing I struggled with was neuropathy. This is another common side effect from chemo which results in nerve damage. For me I experienced tingling sensation on my feet and fingertips. It wasn't painful for me but definitely a weird feeling.

After 5 days of napping, I felt much better and was able to go out for walks, record covers and workout. I definitely felt more motivated about the next few rounds. For this round, I would rate my overall experience 7/10.
