A good friend of mine gave me this wonderful gift: a 30 page coloring book consisting of a variety of positive affirmations & statements related to fighting against a cancer. I describe myself as an artistic and creative person so this was one of the ways I spend a great deal of time in between treatments and during my chemo sessions. It enables me to relax and keep a good headspace.
Coloring is a great form of art therapy. Whether you are at home or staying for longer periods in the hospital, coloring is a good way not only to kill boredom but a wonderful form of taking your mind and stress off the ongoing things in your life. When coloring, I also tend to pop on my big headphones and listen to some nice music, which is a great combination of occupying my mind . So if you are looking for alternative new hobbies in order to stay mentally sane, give coloring a shot! I love the fact that coloring gives me some form of control as I make the decisions in choosing different color themes, including which colors and shapes can complement each other. For me, coloring is a sense of control and it is a symbolic reminder that I still have a sense of normalcy, where I can still get on with some day to day activities despite the circumstances.
Below, I will post a series of coloring works that I have completed. I hope you enjoy them and find some positivity, willpower and hope with these forms of inspiring affirmations. Feel free to leave your comment below on your favourite piece :)

Having a good support system you can count on is so important during cancer.

During treatment, I really did what I could do so that I can have more time to explore the world, spend time with family and enjoy my time longer on this earth.

May God provide and bless you with the right medical team of doctors, their wisdom, their knowledge and appropriate medicine so that every cancer cell be wiped out by his powerful hands!
"I will beat Cancer."
